    Christian Journalism Course Subimmsions

    Assignments:​​
    1. Provide a 2,000 word essay on what constitutes bold, balanced and Biblical journalism.
    2. Provide five 300 word essays on what you learned from five of the video or audio presentations.
    3. Write a 2,000 word essay on Bias, Prejudice and Disinformation in the media today.
    4. Write an article for a community newspaper with 2 or 3 photographs on any aspect that is relevant to your community. (You will receive bonus marks if you can also attach a photocopy of the article published in your local community newspaper.)
    5. Write at least 3 letters to the Editor on various issues of concern. (Bonus marks will be awarded for those that include copies of these letters having been published in a local community newspaper or magazine.)
    6. Start a Facebook page, Website or Blog to deal with a neglected, important and relevant subject. Provide links.
    7. Phone in to a radio phone-in programme and contribute to the discussion, using key Biblical and journalistic principles. Write a report on what you learned from this experience.
    8. Interview three different people who are either eyewitnesses of an important event, or individuals who have achieved in their field. Write up articles on the basis of these interviews. (Bonus marks will be awarded to those who have these interviews published in a local community newspaper or magazine.)
    9. Provide a list of subjects you want to research, or people you would like to interview, for future journalism projects.
